I hate people.

Yesterday we went to the mall to eat some delicious Chick-fil-a (yumm) and pay our phone bill (yuck!) On the way in there are two signs "No smoking within 15 feet" Plopped down on a rock right in front of the sign was a girl, smoking. I hate people. I said something to her. She gave me smug look. I don't mind people doing things they don't realize are wrong, and when corrected stop. But blatant disregard for other people and an "i-could-care-less" attitude makes my blood boil.

For that reason, I hate living in Utah. I mean, I know that this exists everywhere, but I feel like its so prominent here. I hate it.  I'll give you another example to even better illustrate my point.

Today I went to the public library where I meet Beck every two weeks to drop off breast milk for her baby (Yes, I'm one of those crazy, granola moms who donates breast milk. I proudly wear my birkenstocks too.) On the way back, I stopped to let a person cross the street, at a freestanding cross walk. The person behind me took it as an opportunity to pass me on the right, and continue on. I hate people.

Really. People in utah are just oblivious. They go through life completely unaware of everyone else around them. I hate people.

I can't wait to go back to the south, where people wave and smile at each other. And say "Hi" and hold doors. That'll be wonderful.

4 more months.
